About Us
Our mission is to get Mutton back on our
dinner tables
We founded the business back in 2005 with ten ewes and a Tup. From those first beginnings, we knew that we wanted to get a much maligned and forgotten food to a new audience. Fast forward thirteen years and we have moved from Yorkshire, down to the Cotswolds and then back home to Yorkshire again. The sheep now roam their ancestral hills whence the breed originated accumulating flavour from the coarse grazing. We now supply a Michelin-starred nationally acclaimed restaurant as well as other top local eateries. The chefs we deal with tell us that it is very popular on their menu’s and it is generally only on for a few days at most!
